How we work
Good coaching should not feel like a mystery. Here is the path most engagements follow, and the thinking behind it. We adapt the pace to the person, but the shape stays the same.
The engagement
We start with one honest conversation. What is heavy right now, what is working, and what you want to be true in a year. No assessment battery before we have understood the person in front of us.
Together we set a baseline and choose a small number of priorities. We use structured reflection and, where it helps, validated assessments, so the work targets what matters most rather than everything at once.
The core of the work. Regular sessions where we build skills, test them against your real week, and adjust. Progress lives between sessions, so we keep the practices few and specific enough to actually use.
We turn what is working into habit. That means tying new behavior to existing routines, removing friction, and planning for the weeks that will test it. A change that survives a hard month is a change that holds.
Our aim is to make ourselves unnecessary. We close with a clear picture of what you have built and how to keep it, plus an open door if a future season calls for a tune-up.
What it is built on
We borrow from a few well-established fields and leave the hype out. If a practice does not hold up to scrutiny, we do not teach it.

Habit formation is a craft. We design changes around cues, friction, and repetition so they last past the first burst of motivation.
Lessons from high-stakes fields on preparation, energy, and recovery, adapted for the demands of leadership rather than sport.
What to expect
Most one-to-one work runs three to six months, with sessions every week or two and support in between. Team programs are usually scoped over a quarter. We will recommend a length after the first conversation, based on what you are working toward.
Coaching. We work with healthy, high-functioning people on clarity, resilience, and performance. If something in our conversations points to clinical care, we will say so directly and help you find the right support. The two can run alongside each other.
When a company sponsors coaching, it receives themes and progress at a high level, never the content of a session. Confidentiality is the reason the work goes deep enough to matter. We agree on exactly what will be shared before we begin.
Both. Most coaching happens over video, which keeps a busy schedule workable. For team programs and workshops we travel to you when it serves the work. We will sort the logistics around your calendar.
It costs nothing and it tells us both whether to go further.
